I'm so glad we had a couple of participants this past month! Your German inspired dishes look great, here is our round-up...
First off, Rosa at
Cooking with Rosie, who happens to live in Germany, made
Bavarian Obatzter, a
cheesy pub food that sounds like a delicious appetizer or snack.

Next up, Joanna at
In Search of Lost Time made
Choucroute garni, a German inspired French dish with sauerkraut, apples, and smoky meats, looks wonderful! I have to say thanks to Joanna for suggesting we 'visit' Germany again this October, what a great
MKMW tradition to start :)

Over at
Nummy Kitchen, I made a simple
German Apple Cake that was chock full of apples from a recent trip to the orchard. I had a great time getting back to
MKMW, and hope everyone else did as well!
For November, our randomly selected country is... Colombia! Tomorrow I will start a post where we can discuss the cuisine of Colombia and post links to possible Colombian dishes to try, another great idea from Joanna, thank you.
