I am from Canada so Mexican is not as usual as Southern U.S., I have ulterior motives for picking Mexico:
1. I found one of those presses that they make plantain chips with for $5 a little while ago.
2. Recently picked up Simply Delicioso
3. My jalapenos are just about ready to pick.
I just moved from Denver where we had the most amazing Mexican grocery store. Now I live in the Pacific Northwest where no one even knows what a tortilla is. LOL
I did get a new Ricky Bayless cookbook so I will draw inspiration from there. We LOVE Mexican food!!
I won't be able to participate during the Chinese week. I will be back home in Denver for the weekend.
Yum! The whole family loves Mexican food (even my picky husband) so I can't wait to get cooking for this selection :) Great choice Natashya!
Oh, good GRIEF. Is it week 7 already? With guests in town, and day trips into NYC, I never did get my cooking on! (I made a sort of grab-bag pasta for lunch today with feta, pecorino romano, basil chicken, and sun-dried tomatoes...does that count for Italy?)
At least I know I can get the Chinese food done! We eat it at least four times a week.
Mexican it is this week. :-)
