Week Nineteen . . . . Germany

This Week, Roxanne of Roxanne's Road Rules is sending us to Germany to celebrate Oktoberfest!

Oktoberfest was first held in Munich in 1810 in honor of the marriage of Crown Prince Ludwig. It attracts over 6 million people every year who consume 1.5 million gallons of beer, 200,000 pork sausages and 480,000 spit-roasted chickens during the annual 16-day beer festival.

Also, please officially welcome two new travelers:

and

Happy Travels!

Sorry I missed last week. Things have been crazy here. I won't be able to participate this week either. I have two cake and two cupcake orders to get done before Saturday. Plus, I need to get ready for Dias de los Muertos this weekend. It is time to spend hours making some Mole and getting sugar skulls ready. :)

I am so bummed about missing out on the beir, wienerschintzel, and runza!

Prost!

Thanks for the welcome!

We had our little Oktoberfest celebration the other night, and I put it on our blog.

This is such a fun site--wish I had found it months ago!
