Ireland Round-Up

Hi Folks,

sorry for the round-up delay: this week was inspection on my new house and the first showing on my current house- it has been crazy, crazy busy.  But guess what?  Looks like you all have been crazy busy, too, cooking up a storm!  11 people participated this time around!

Rosie from Cooking with Rosie made some yummy looking Irish Champ, which is a great way to change up your standard potato side dish.

The Poor Folk Gourmet made boxty, which I had never heard of, but turns out it is a potato pancake- my favorite!!

Co-host Andrea Nummy Kitchen was a real over achiever this week and made 3! types of Irish bread.  Now that is dedication!

Michelle from My Year to Get Skinny made the classic- Corned Beef and Cabbage!

Natashya from Living in the Kitchen with Puppies,  made guinness bread.  I love beer based breads, I bet this one had a delicious deep richness to it

Colleen from as is proper . . .  had an Irish filled day- Irish Soda Bread for breakfast, Shepards pie for dinner, and Chocolate Guinness Cake for dessert!  Nice!

Judy from Judy's Gross Eats also made that an Irish dinner, including delicious looking champ, and pork with Guinness sauce.

Joanna from In Search of Lost Time brings had dinner and a movie, featuring a screening of Angela's Ashes and  Fish and Chips.

More Than Burnt Toast brings us  Whiskey Chicken and Colcannon, another yummy potato dish!

Jess from Chubb made us some Irish Soda Bread- I'm glad she got it up, better late then never!

And I, your humble co-host from I'll Eat You made Irish Soda Bread in muffin form- perfect for a quick breakfast!

Thanks to everyone who participated!  What a great (not to mention delicious) turnout!  See you soon for our next adventure!
