Guatemala Round-Up

Not a huge turn-out for My Kitchen My World Guatemala, but everything looks extra delicious...

First off we have Natashya at Living in the Kitchen with Puppies with a gorgeous Guatemalan Challah, doesn't that look amazing?

Christine at Kits Chow made a delicious looking Salpicon, Shredded Beef Salad and also has some interesting Guatemalan history on her post!

Our wonderful co-host Lauren at I'll Eat You made a flavorful Flank Steak Currasco and Guatemalan Beans.

And to finish off the round-up, over at Nummy Kitchen I attempted a traditional Guatemalan meal, with Guatemalan style beans, Guatemalan Style Rice, and homemade corn tortillas.

I noticed a lot of people weren't able to participate but are ready to cook up something fun for My Kitchen My World -- Turkey, so I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with :) If this is your first visit to My Kitchen My World, we would love to have you join us in our culinary travels! Thanks for visiting!

Happy travels,

What a wonderful round up! Sorry that I haven't made anything for Guatemala but I found a recipe that I would still like to try. I plan on making it within the next day or two, and then I'll post about it. It's been a bit busy the past few weeks but things are getting back to normal. :-)

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!

I think Easter slowed people down, or at least it slowed me down.
Small is nice sometimes.
Great round up, yummy stuff!

Sorry guys! Between my being admitted to the hospital and Easter I haven't been able to keep up with my blog and MKMW. I'll try to get it together for Turkey though! That round up looks delicious! I wish I had more time!

Hi everyone!

I am so sorry I haven't been around. With Easter, my mom came to visit, and my daughters 4th birthday tomorrow I haven't had much time to participate.

I will start traveling again when things get back to normal...whatever that is! LOL
