Afghanistan Round-up & January Destination

Finally, the November - Afghanistan Round-up -- thanks for being patient with me guys! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season and are welcoming in the New Year with lots of excitement!

First up for Afghanistan is a dish of Afghani Biryani from Torviewtoronto, a beautiful rice dish that looked extra flavorful.

~~~~~~~~~~~
Next up we have two Afghan dishes from Searching for Spice that went together perfectly -- Afghan Potato Salad and Beef Kebabs, they look wonderful!
~~~~~~~~~~

Our third selection this month comes from Megha at Live to eat!!! who made some fun looking Gluten Free Sweet Potato Kebabs, yum!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Next up is a gorgeous dessert from Unchained Kitchen -- Pistachio Rose Ice Cream Sandwiches , looks amazing, what a treat!
~~~~~~~~~~~~

Our 5th entry this month is from new traveler Family & Food & Other Things, who made a delicious dinner of cinnamon spiced Afghani Meatballs with Noodles tossed in Yogurt that her whole family enjoyed! Welcome to MKMW :)

~~~~~~~~~~~~
And last but certainly not least we have a beautiful dessert of Afghan Baklava from Renee at Every Pot and Pan. What a perfect way to finish up our Afghanistan Round-up.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Thank you to everyone who participated, it was great to see all of the Afghani dishes!

I will be working on the December -- Germany round-up over the next few days and get that posted ASAP. I know it was a difficult time for lots of people to keep up with over the holidays and am so glad we still had some participants.

Our January destination will be Denmark, suggest by Janet at the taste space, thanks for a great suggestion Janet! I don't think MKMW has ever visited Denmark so that should be a fun one. You can leave a comment in this post with a link to your Danish dish or in the comments on the Germany round-up which should be posted in a few days :)

Happy New Year,

Andrea

Can't say I know much about Danish food, but I look forward to trying something new. :)
