Hi guys, I figured I'd try something new this month and make a seperate post where you can leave a link to your recipe with a linky instead of commenting with a link. I think this might be a bit quicker and I know it will be nice for me to just check the linky widget when I do the round-up, so I won't miss anyone!

Tunisia Round-up

Wow, is it December 9th already?  I'm sorry to be posting this round-up so late!  Time always escapes me this time of the year and I'm always wishing for more.  Anyway, on to our Tunisian dishes, only two, but they sure do look delicious!

First up we have Janet at the taste space with a beautiful dish, Tunisian Vegetable Ragout with Quinoa, that looks so hearty and filling, just perfect for this time of the year!

Next up we have a gorgeous dish of Shakshuka, a Tunisian breakfast with eggs cooked in a tomato sauce with vegetables, yum! Thanks to Corina at Searching for Spice for this Tunisian pick :)

Korea Round-Up and November Destination...

Welcome to our Korea Round-up! I think October must have quickly snuck past everyone (I know it did me!) since we only have three entries, but, no worries -- they look plenty delicious for our taste of Korea :)

First up we have a beautiful fresh dish, "Raw Mushroom "Bul Go Go" Lettuce Wrap," courtesy of Janet at the taste space.

Next up is a more traditional "Steak Bulgogi" from Corina at Searching for Spice, looks delicious!  Glad you finally got to try cooking a Korean dish :)

Last but certainly not least is Peggy at Pantry Revisited with her first try at "Korean Roast Chicken," so glad you liked it and will make it again!

That concludes our round-up of Korean dishes!  Janet at the taste space has suggested Tunisia as our November destination so get ready to do some googling and find a Tunisian dish to try.  Sounds like a fun challenge.  I was thinking it might be nice to have the next few months of destinations picked in advance and posted in the side bar, so if anyone has any suggestions please post them in a comment and we can add the to the itinerary!  I was thinking Belgium so I will toss that one in for December, let's all try to come up with some fun destinations for 2012!

Thailand Round-Up and October Destination

Welcome to our Thailand Round-Up!

First up we have a colorful dish of New Potato, Cauliflower, Chickpea and Green Bean Thai Curry with a Cucumber and Coriander Salsa from Janet at the taste space.  What a great start!

Next up is another wonderful dish from Janet, a bowl of Thai Coconut Corn Stew, yum! It looks so warm and comforting.

Our third entry is from a new traveler, Shaheen at Allotment 2 Kitchen, welcome!   Shaheen made Yellow Curry Cabbage with Mushrooms, it looks delicious!  Thanks for sharing :)

And finally, over at Nummy Kitchen, I tried my hand at some Thai Curry Noodles with Tofu, which turned out to be a perfect lunch!

Not a big round-up this time but a huge thank you to everyone who participated!  All of the dishes look wonderful!

Janet at the taste space has suggested Korea as our October destination, doesn't that sound fun?  So please make a Korean dish and post a link to your creation as a comment on this post by October 31st.  New members are always welcome, just jump right in with a Korean dish if you would like :) I can't wait to see what flavors we come up with, these round-ups always provide so much cooking inspiration to me and I hope they do for you as well.

England and Spain Round-up & September Destination -- Thailand

Welcome to our England and Spain Round-up! England was our July destination and Spain was our August destination. I hope everyone had a wonderful summer and are ready for some cooler (well, for most of us) fall weather. Let's get started with some delicious food!

England Round-up...

First up we have Corina at Searching for Spice with our first rendition of Toad in the Hole, a traditional British dish of sausages baked in Yorkshire pudding batter, looks very comforting!

Next up at Unchained Kitchen is CJW with CJW with Beef & Turnip Pasties, be sure to check out her delicious pasties and funny story about kidney pie :)

Here we have another version of the traditional Toad in the Hole, shared by Peggy at Pantry Revisited, doesn't that look yummy? What a great photo!

Aren't these crumpets just perfect?  They were made by Margaret at Tea and Scones, who also made a full afternoon tea, including crumpets, Scotch eggs, cucumber sandwiches, and banana tea loaf, all of which look amazing! Thank you, Margaret, for suggesting England!

Janet at the taste space has treated us with Cauliflower, Spinach, and Chickpea Balti; reminding us of the diverse cuisine of England, looks like a delicious dinner to me!

That concludes our England round-up, what a selection!  Everything looks wonderful! Now on to our August destination: Spain, here we go...

A bright and beautiful Mango Gazpacho from Janet at the taste space is our first entry for destination Spain, looks like summer in a bowl, yum!

Margaret at Tea and Scones is our second traveler for destination Spain and she shares with us two delicious Spanish dishes, Buñuelos de Cordoba, pictured above, are delicate fritters from southwestern Spain, yum!  Also check her site for a traditional Spanish omelette, Tortilla de Patatas, that looks just perfect.

Only two travelers for Spain, looks like August was a busy month for everyone!  No worries, on to September :)   But before then, an extra post from Janet at the taste space, with her entry for destination Greece (back in May) -- a flavorful dish of Greek Baked Beans / Gigantes Plaki, looks great!

July & August Destinations -- England & Spain

Have been away on summer break, sorry for the delay! I only see one July submission (thanks, Corina!) for England so it looks like most of you guys are on summer vacation as well :)

How about I do a double round-up at the start of September for our July destination England -- that way if you wanted to make a British dish and missed out you can still make on and post it throughout August -- and also our August destination ... Spain (thank you, Janet, for that suggestion!) ?

As usual, post a link in the comment section on this post to your blog post featuring a dish from England and / or Spain and I will put together a round-up September 1st.

Indonesia Round-up

Welcome to our Indonesia round-up, featuring a delightful array of Indonesian dishes to tempt your taste buds...



Our first entry is a beautiful Indonesian-style Purslane Salad from Graziana at Erbe in Cucina, a version of the popular Gado-gado that looks delicious, what a great start!

Janet at the taste space shares a big bowl of her delicious Spicy Indonesian Yam and Peanut Soup that she also shared with an international themed dinner party, how fun!

Our friend at This Chihuahua Wears Pearls (formerly The Not So Skinny Kitchen) has two Indonesian dishes to share! First up, a light and refreshing Indonesian Cucumber Salad called Acar Ketimum, looks like the perfect cure for over abundant cucumber gardens!



Next up she shares a recipe for Nasi Goreng -- Indonesian Fried Rice, that somehow turned out to be pretty bland, good thing it was served with some Chicken Satay, mmm!

Corina at Searching for Spice shares with us a slow cooker version of Beef Rendang that turned out to be a winner of a recipe, a new favorite curry and slow cooker recipe for Corina! The spices sound just lovely.

Above, a delicious dish of Curry Coconut Tofu, shared by CJW at Unchained Kitchen. Using a favorite tofu recipe as a jumping off point for her Indonesian inspired dish proved to be a success, yum!

Finally over at Nummy Kitchen I made some Mie Goreng, a spicy fried Indonesian noodle dish, and also a delicious Indonesian cucumber lime drink, just perfect for these hot summer days we are having here lately.

Welcome to our MKMW May destination Greece Round-up!



First up we have Seemie at Erbe in Cucina with a gorgeous Chicken Souvlaki with Honey and Aromatic Herbs, looks delicious!

Next up we have another beautifully plated dish, Yogurt Spaghetti & Lamb Meatballs from CJW at Unchained Kitchen, looks like the perfect Greek lunch to me!

Margaret from Tea and Scones is back to traveling with a beautiful Revani -- Semolina Sponge Cake that is soaked with a Lemon Syrup, what a perfect dessert!

No picture from Joanna at In Search of Lost Time, but a delicious recipe for Homemade Croutons and Greek Dressing, just perfect for her Greek Chicken Salad.

At Nummy Kitchen, I made some Gyro Style Greek Veggie Wraps with homemade Greek Flat Bread that I haven't had a chance to blog about yet, turned out similar to the Veggie Gyros you can get at Greek restaurants which was just what I was going for :)

Egypt Round-up

Finally, our destination Egypt round-up is here -- enjoy :)



First up we have Glennis at Can't Believe We Ate with a beautiful dish of Braised Lamb Shanks, love the pistachios!

Next up we have Corina at Searching for Spice with a plate of Chicken Shish Kebabs, which reminded her of her holiday to Egypt last year, which I'm sure was amazing!

Janet at the taste space has treated us to an Egyptian Bread and Butter Pudding for dessert, looks wonderful!

CJW at Unchained Kitchen came up with a Middle East Pitza that starts with a toasted pita and includes baba ganoush, pine nuts, chicken, and a tangy tzatziki, it sounds delicious!

Janet at the taste space has treated us to a second Egyptian dish, a main this time -- Roasted Cauliflower and Chickpeas with Dukkah, it looks so flavorful, yum!

Joanna at In Search of Lost Time made an Egyptian Couscous Salad and served it with melon on the side, what a perfect light lunch.

Hi guys, sorry I've been MIA. Things have just been too busy for me to keep up with the past few weeks!

Norway Round-up

Welcome to the MKMW Norway Round-up!

Our first dish is Norwegian Salmon Chowder, chosen by Chaya at her My Sweet and Savory blog, it looks delicious and just perfect for spring.

Chaya is so sweet to share with us two Norwegian recipes this month, the second, pictured above, is Lemon Pasta with Norwegian Salmon -- from Chaya's Comfy Cook blog, yum!

That concludes our Norwegian round-up -- but there is one extra dish to share, Sweet-and-Sour Onion Salad, this was picked by Kayte at Grandma's Kitchen Table to try for our February destination, Italy, as an antipasti dish, doesn't it look yummy?

Italy Round-up and March Destination...

Hello friends, welcome to the MKMW Italy round-up! We have seven delicious entries this month so sit back, relax, and enjoy these Italian dishes...

First up is CJW at Unchained Kitchen with a hearty and flavor packed winter time meal of Greens & Cannellini Stew, it looks so welcoming and I love the use of seasonal ingredients.

Next we have Janet at the taste space with two Italian meals to share, first is a beautiful Italian Stew with Winter Squash and Chickpeas, what beautiful colors!

Also from Janet, How Not to Eat Out in New York City (An Eatalian Meal), a wonderful look into her trip to NYC and lots of information should you be planning a visit to The Big Apple any time soon and want some great Italian eats without eating at restaurants all the time.

Please welcome new traveler Glennis from Can't Believe We Ate (hi, Glennis!), she brings a beautiful yet uncomplicated pasta dish called Angel Hair with Eggs, Leeks and Cream, it looks delicious!

Peggy from Pantry Revisited was lucky enough to visit Italy last summer and that left her wanting to cook real Italian food at home, her Spaghetti with Bolognese Sauce certainly fits the bill. Looks like the perfect Italian dinner to me!

Next up is Joanna at In Search of Lost Time with Italian Wedding Soup and quite a few other Italian dishes pictured on her site, apparently it has been Italian cooking month at her house, sounds like so much fun! Love the new ravioli press :)

And last but not least, over at Nummy Kitchen I made a dish of Spinach and Ricotta Conchiglie / Stuffed Shells which was a fun dish to prepare and nice to try a more traditional Italian take on stuffed shells.

Thank you so much to our MKMW Italy participants, it was great to see the dishes you came up with and I am inspired by your creations.

We have had a few destination suggestions and I figured we'd just go with them in order of suggestion, if that's okay with everyone. First up we have Norway, so we shall travel back to Scandinavia for our March destination. Egypt is our next suggestion, so plan on a culinary trip there for April. I received an e-mail suggestion for Greece, so pack your kitchen suitcase (is there such a thing? I don't know, go with it :) ) for a trip to Greece in May.
